Dr. Noroski
is a member of the Pediatric AIDS Clinical Trials Group program at Baylor.
Her research targets minority populations via the development and implementation
of innovative HIV-specific comprehensive and life-long health care for
community youth. Such programming is designed to teach elements of traditional
medical care linked with education, support, and skills-building that
is age-appropriate, culturally-sensitive, and peer-directed with professional
facilitation. She contributes to the Adolescent Initiative at Baylor (in
the care of HIV-at-risk and HIV-infected teens), cares for primary immunodeficient
childlren, and collaborates with community service groups, such as AIDS
Foundation Houston. Dr. Noroski has designed a career education and research
program for minority students (Student Camp Intern Program) and is developing
a pediatric peer-based outreach program for HIV patients.
